Capital Project

The East Greenbush CSD has proposed a $116 million capital project that, if approved by voters, would improve facilities and grounds at all seven schools at no additional cost to the local taxpayer. The proposed capital project will be a proposition on the School Budget Vote and Board Election ballot scheduled for Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

Donald P. Sutherland Elementary School launched a new web-based morning announcements program on Friday. (L to R): Mallory Paschall, Riley Hauenstein, and Lilliana Larson.

Donald P. Sutherland Elementary School broadcast the first show for its new web-based morning announcement program on Friday. The first three newscasters included Riley Hauenstein who served as anchorperson, Lilliana Larson reported the school news and Mallory Paschall listed the day’s lunch menu, provided the weather forecast and sent out birthday wishes.

The new morning show, named DPS Channel 9, was broadcast live to classrooms throughout the school utilizing WEBEX.
