Green Meadow Named 2021 National Blue Ribbon School

Green Meadow Elementary School was named a 2021 National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education on Tuesday morning. The recognition is based on a school’s overall academic performance. Green Meadow is one of only 325 schools in the country, including one of 19 schools in New York to receive the 2021 National Blue Ribbon School award. Congratulations to Green Meadow students, teachers, staff and families!

Albert Chang speaking at Bell TopAlbert Chang, who attended Bell Top Elementary School, and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Columbia High School in 2018, was inducted into the Bell Ringers Hall of Fame on Monday afternoon at a school-wide assembly.

Mr. Chang, who just completed his freshman year at the University at Albany, spoke with fondness about his years at Bell Top and the many traditions that continue today for current students. And he expressed gratitude to the teachers and supportive environment that helped set a foundation for his learning.

“Bell Top has been and will always be my foundation,” Mr. Chang said. “I’m truly thankful for everything that this school has done for me.”
