Columbia Athletics will be hosting a Welcome Back Chicken BBQ on Monday, August 26 from 4-7 p.m. at the high school prior to Meet the Coaches Night for fall sports.
Each dinner costs $12 ($10 per meal when ordering 4 or more meals) and includes a ½ chicken, baked potato with butter and sour cream, coleslaw, a dinner roll, dessert and a beverage.
Dinner is open to anyone in the community. It will be served in the Columbia cafeteria for dine-in or curbside pick-up outside the school.
Reservations, which are highly recommended, can be made by contacting the Athletic Department at YoungNa@egcsd.org by Wednesday, August 21. Columbia sportswear will also be for sale at the event.
After dinner, student athletes and their parents will have the opportunity to meet coaches of fall sports at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium. This is a mandatory meeting for student athletes participating in a fall sport so that they and their parents can meet our coaches, talk about expectations and promote cooperative community action.
