Students learned important lessons about fire safety recently as local firefighters gave presentations at each of the district’s five elementary schools. Students watched informational videos, toured fire engines and saw firefighters in their full gear.
Some of the topics that students learned about included smoke detectors; stop, drop and roll; when to call 911; and what to do in the event of a fire.
Thank you to each of the fire departments for visiting our schools!
