COVID-19 Updates and Information

Grades 3-5 will return for full time in-person learning starting Monday, April 26, which will fully reopen all elementary schools. The K-12 Full Remote program will still be available to families who choose that option. Due to state regulations, Columbia and Goff will remain in the Hybrid Model at this time. The East Greenbush CSD will continue to evaluate options for Columbia and Goff students to receive increased in-person learning at 6 feet social distancing where possible.

New striped parking lot at CHS

There is no parking allowed in the yellow striped areas along the curb at Columbia High School.

The following message was emailed to all district parents on Thursday, December 12

This is a friendly reminder that there is no parking allowed along the curb in the Columbia High School bus loop. This includes during the school day but also for after school events open to the community such as athletic contests and concerts.

In the interest of safety, the bus loop must be clear so that emergency vehicles can access the school. There have been instances in the past in which an ambulance could not access the bus loop to assist a medical emergency at an after school event.

We have been notified by the East Greenbush Police Department that they will ticket and tow any vehicles illegally parked in the upper bus loop.

Thank you for your cooperation.
