Capital Project

The East Greenbush CSD has proposed a $116 million capital project that, if approved by voters, would improve facilities and grounds at all seven schools at no additional cost to the local taxpayer. The proposed capital project will be a proposition on the School Budget Vote and Board Election ballot scheduled for Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

Due to today’s snow day, the Bell Top Elementary School Grade 5 Concert originally scheduled for tonight has been moved to Friday, December 20 at 7:00 p.m. in the Columbia High School auditorium. Students should arrive at Columbia by 6:30 p.m. to setup and take their seats for the performance. More information.

Due to today’s snow day, the Genet Elementary School Grade 4/5 Concert originally scheduled for tonight has been moved to Thursday, December 19 at 6:00 p.m. in the Genet Auditorium. More information.

Due to the continuing snowstorm and the poor road conditions in areas of our school district, East Greenbush CSD will be closed on Tuesday, December 17. All evening activities are also canceled. The Bell Top and Genet concerts are postponed. The new dates will be communicated to parents ASAP.

East Greenbush CSD will open with a 2-hour delay on Tuesday, December 17 due to the road conditions. There will be no AM BOCES. The decision to open with the delay or close schools will be made by 7:00 a.m.
