Green Meadow third graders and their family members enjoyed a festive buffet on Wednesday morning as they celebrated Holidays Around the World in the school cafeteria. There was an assortment of food and desserts for everyone to try, such as French Canadian Crepes, Irish Apple Cake and British Jaffa Cakes.
The event celebrated cultures from around the world, and culminated a research project for the students.
Each student chose a country to research and then brought in a traditional food to share with their classmates. Students also created paper dolls dressed according to the culture they researched.
Love the delicious and festive food at Green Meadow’s ‘Holidays From Around the World’ Celebration!
