Genet Auditorium stage and seatingEast Greenbush Central School District will be hosting a presentation for parents titled “The Dangers of Vaping and the Fight to Combat the Heroin and Opioid Crisis” on Tuesday, January 28 at 7:00 p.m. in the Genet Elementary School auditorium.

Parents will learn about e-cigarettes, substances that may be used in these devices, the potential health risks of vaping and tips on how to address this growing issue with teens.

In addition, with the rise of the heroin and fentanyl epidemic in today’s society, East Greenbush Detective Sergeant Michael Guadagnino will be presenting an awareness session on dangerous drugs and the threats they pose to students, parents and first responders.
