Kindergarten Returns Full Time Starting March 1

The Board of Education has approved two changes to the instructional model: 1) Kindergarten students will resume five days a week of in-person learning starting on Monday, March 1. The Full Remote Program is still available to families. 2) Live Virtual Wednesdays will be eliminated for students in grades 1-5 starting March 10 to provide one additional in-person school day every other week. March 10 will be an in-person school day for B Day students and A Day students will have a remote day. The schedule will alternate going forward.

St. Baldrick's green t-shirtThe Goff Student Council is proud to announce a variety of fundraising efforts in support of the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, a charity that funds childhood cancer research. Since 2005, the organization has awarded more than $282 million in grants to support cancer research.

  1. Goff T-Shirt Sale
    Goff Middle School is going green in honor of The St. Baldrick’s Foundation and St. Patrick’s Day. Student Council will be selling green Goff t-shirts this week and all of the proceeds will be donated to The St. Baldrick’s Foundation. T-shirts can be purchased online at https://abwgoffstbaldricksfr.itemorder.com/sale. Choose “Coordinator Delivery” under Shipping and you can pick up your order at Goff Middle School. Act fast, orders are due by Sunday, February 16.

  3. Green Hair Extensions
    Similar to Goff Middle School’s pink hair extension fundraiser in October to support Breast Cancer Awareness, green hair extensions will be sold in March. Students will receive a permission slip for the hair extensions after the winter break.

  5. Shave It!
    Yes, that’s right, we are calling in to Goff one of the barbers from the St. Baldrick’s Foundation to shave the heads of any student or staff, who are brave enough to support the St. Baldrick’s fundraiser. All proceeds, will go to St. Baldrick’s. Students will receive more information/permission slip after the winter break.
