COVID Updates and Information

Effective immediately, all children ages 12-15 are eligible to receive the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine, meaning all state residents ages 12 and up can now be protected against COVID-19. The Rensselaer County Health Department will be hosting a Pfizer Vaccine Clinic for 12 to 15 year olds at the McDonough Sports Complex at Hudson Valley Community College on Friday, May 14 from 3:00-6:00 p.m. Children must be accompanied by a parent and bring proof of age. This is a walk-in clinic. No appointment is necessary.

Harlem Wizards logoCome out and watch the high-flying Harlem Wizards play a fundraiser basketball game against East Greenbush Central School District staff on Monday, March 2 at 7:00 p.m. in the Columbia High School gym.

Advance tickets cost $11/students and seniors, $13/adults, $18/reserved and $30/courtside plus tax. Please purchase tickets online or by using the ticket order form.

This family fun event is being sponsored by Columbia’s German Club and a portion of the proceeds will go toward its Germany trip this summer as part of its exchange program.
