Each team member climbed 42 flights of stairs (809 steps) and, collectively, raised $1,180. They were in the top six of fundraising teams.

EGTA members earned medals in different age groups for their times. Erin Rightmyer won 1st place in her age group, Leia Nardacci placed 2nd in her age group, Wendy McAlonie earned 3rd place in her age group and her son Daniel earned 2nd place in his age group.

“It was so exciting to see our team do so well in the climb and it was even more rewarding to raise funds and awareness to find a cure for cystic fibrosis,” said Daniel Wagner, a Columbia Social Studies teacher and EGTA member.
