Governor Andrew Cuomo announced today that all public schools in New York State will remain closed through April 29 due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Additionally, Board of Regents Chancellor Betty Rosa announced that the Regents Examinations scheduled for June 2020 will be canceled. No decision has been made regarding the August 2020 Regents Exams.

The East Greenbush Central School District is expected to receive further guidance from the NYS Education Department on Tuesday regarding the impact of canceled Regents Exams on graduation requirements and student grading. That information will be shared with the school community when it is available.
