Green Meadow school staff waved and honked horns from their cars during a Lunchtime Parade that they organized for students on Friday. Local police and fire department cars led the parade of more than 70 vehicles that drove through neighborhoods surrounding the school.
Students and families enjoyed the parade as they waved back to teachers and held colorful homemade signs.
The parades were just one of the many ways that teachers and staff have connected to students and their families during this extended school closing.
Great seeing our students and families at Green Meadow’s parade today! We miss you! 💚 pic.twitter.com/kzjCIglBUr
