Yankee Trails and The Bus Stop Club have partnered to brighten your day while also collecting donated non-perishable items for local schools and food pantries.
On Thursday, April 23, be on the lookout for the #YTHopeBus, “Lightning McQeen” and “Waldo” as they take to the roads throughout the Town of East Greenbush, between 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
The bus will be collecting non-perishable items which will benefit the East Greenbush Central School District’s Food for Families Program. If you are able to do so, please leave donated items, in a bag with handles, near your mailbox or at the end of your driveway, so the volunteers can easily collect the items.
Suggested donation items include:
- Peanut Butter & Jelly
- Canned Fruits and Vegetables
- Juice Boxes
- Rice
- Boxed Potatoes
- Cereal
- Granola Bars
- Snacks
- Pop Tarts
- Rice Krispie Treats
- Jello
- Pudding
- Tunafish
- Pasta
- Sauce
- Mac and Cheese
- Chef Boyardee Products
