Kindergarten Returns Full Time Starting March 1

The Board of Education has approved two changes to the instructional model: 1) Kindergarten students will resume five days a week of in-person learning starting on Monday, March 1. The Full Remote Program is still available to families. 2) Live Virtual Wednesdays will be eliminated for students in grades 1-5 starting March 10 to provide one additional in-person school day every other week. March 10 will be an in-person school day for B Day students and A Day students will have a remote day. The schedule will alternate going forward.

Kason Romanowski ’20

Each year the Business and Marketing Educators’ Association of the Capital District honors outstanding business students from local high schools. This year Kason Romanowski ’20 was chosen by Columbia High School business teachers due to his outstanding academics, character, and ethics in business education classes.

Mr. Romanowski has taken Web Page Design, HVCC Marketing, HVCC Entrepreneurship, HVCC Personal Finance, and HVCC Organization/Management. This has earned him 12 college credits. Additionally, he was also selected to become a member of the Business and Marketing Honor Society.

Following graduation, Mr. Romanowski will attend Western New England University where he will major in Sports Management and continue to play baseball.
