Kindergarten Returns Full Time Starting March 1

The Board of Education has approved two changes to the instructional model: 1) Kindergarten students will resume five days a week of in-person learning starting on Monday, March 1. The Full Remote Program is still available to families. 2) Live Virtual Wednesdays will be eliminated for students in grades 1-5 starting March 10 to provide one additional in-person school day every other week. March 10 will be an in-person school day for B Day students and A Day students will have a remote day. The schedule will alternate going forward.

Graduates from the Columbia High School Class of 2018 are being contacted by Life Track Services to complete an alumni survey on behalf of the East Greenbush Central School District to evaluate their high school experience and how it prepared them for post-graduate life. This is a follow-up survey to the Senior Exit Survey that these students completed in Spring 2018 and will help the school continue to improve its offerings.

Graduates are encouraged to respond to the survey by answering phone calls that come from the number 1-800-738-6466 and may display “Washington State.” The survey has 16 questions and takes 3 minutes to complete.

Graduates were mailed a letter on February 25 informing them of the survey, and have been sent an email and text message survey. Those who have not yet responded are now receiving phone calls to complete the survey.

If you receive a phone call from 1-800-738-6466 please answer the call and respond to this brief survey.
