Teal Ribbon Run participantsAll students, staff, families, alumni and community members are invited to participate in the 19th annual Teal Ribbon Run for Ovarian Cancer Research on Sunday, September 13 at the East Greenbush Town Park. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s event will have options for a physically distanced run, walk, boot camp or bicycle ride.

You may attend the actual event at the town park, which will comply with CDC guidelines, or participate virtually on your own.

Please join the Columbia Athletics/Team Betty Signorelli group. Last year, the team had 447 participants who raised a record $13,191 for this great cause. Proceeds will be donated to Caring Together, Inc., which seeks to raise awareness of ovarian cancer and raise funds in support of research.

Every registered runner or walker will receive a race shirt and a Columbia Athletics shirt. Shirts will be distributed on Saturday, September 12 at the town park between 7:30-10:30 a.m.

Additionally, Columbia Athletic Director Michael Leonard will donate $1.00 for every person who signs up and joins the team. Mr. Leonard will be running on September 13 at 9 a.m. in the East Greenbush Town Park.

Contact the Athletic Department at 518-207-2080 if you need assistance with registration.
