Capital Project

The East Greenbush CSD has proposed a $116 million capital project that, if approved by voters, would improve facilities and grounds at all seven schools at no additional cost to the local taxpayer. The proposed capital project will be a proposition on the School Budget Vote and Board Election ballot scheduled for Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

Frank K. Yeboah

Frank K. Yeboah was appointed to the East Greenbush Central School District Board of Education on September 9, 2020.

The East Greenbush Central School District Board of Education filled its vacancy at Wednesday evening’s public meeting when Frank K. Yeboah was sworn in. Mr. Yeboah will serve the remainder of Karen Curran’s term, following her resignation in July. The term ends at the next regular election which is scheduled for May 18, 2021.

“We are pleased to welcome Frank Yeboah as the newest member of the Board of Education,” said Board of Education President Michael Buono. “We look forward to his involvement in our school community and in working together as we reopen our schools for the 2020-21 school year.”

Mr. Yeboah, who works as an administrator of a nonprofit rehabilitation and nursing center, is a parent of three students at Genet Elementary School.

Mr. Yeboah has a Master’s Degree in Science with a concentration in Health Services Management. He has been a member of the American College of Health Care Administrators since 2011 and serves on its Member Experience Committee.

“I am deeply honored to accept the appointment to serve on the Board and look forward to innovative thinking and creative approaches in advancing quality education in the district,” Mr. Yeboah said.
