COVID-19 Updates and Information

The Board of Education has approved two changes to the instructional model: 1) Kindergarten students will resume five days a week of in-person learning starting on Monday, March 1. The Full Remote Program is still available to families. 2) Live Virtual Wednesdays will be eliminated for students in grades 1-5 starting March 10 to provide one additional in-person school day every other week. March 10 will be an in-person school day for B Day students and A Day students will have a remote day. The schedule will alternate going forward.

Goff School Spirit Week bannerHoward L. Goff Middle School is celebrating Spirit Week from Monday, November 16 through Friday, November 20. Students are invited to participate in-person and remotely and show off their school spirit!

  • Monday/Tuesday:  Football day! Anything football……..jerseys, t-shirts, sweatshirts, pants, team socks, team masks or hats! NO HELMETS!
  • Wednesday: First photo challenge. You in Autumn, your pet in Autumn, or a picture of a landscape. One picture per student or staff. Pictures need to be emailed to Mrs. Lopez by Wednesday at 5:00 p.m.
  • Thursday/Friday: Think Fall!! Fall colors – maroon, yellow, green, brown – think changing leaves. Flannel, plaid, camo print, scarecrow.

Raffles will be handed out before dismissal on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Raffles will occur Thursday and Friday morning for those who take part in the Photo Challenge on Wednesday.
