The Columbia Chamber Singers are ‘Caroling for Kids’ to help raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region.
The talented ensemble recently produced two Christmas Carols – “Jingle Bells” and “Joy to the World” – in the high school lobby which were then shared on the school district’s social media accounts. The goal is to raise funds for the Ronald McDonald House and bring hope and happiness to others.
“When we heard about this campaign, we knew we wanted to help,” said Columbia music teacher Shellie Badger, who directs the Chamber Singers. “It doesn’t get much better than kids helping kids by spreading holiday cheer. In the words of Buddy the Elf ‘The best way to spread Christmas Cheer is singing loud for all to hear.'”
