Capital Project

The East Greenbush CSD has proposed a $116 million capital project that, if approved by voters, would improve facilities and grounds at all seven schools at no additional cost to the local taxpayer. The proposed capital project will be a proposition on the School Budget Vote and Board Election ballot scheduled for Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

FBLA Students Spread Holiday Cheer

FBLA students display giftsColumbia High School’s Future Business Leaders of America club (FBLA) is spreading holiday cheer. They recently bought gifts for four children through the school’s Adopt a Family program. Then the students wrapped the presents and put them in festive holiday bags.

“Many students donated gifts with their own money,” said Donna Shepardson, a Columbia teacher and co-advisor of FBLA. “FBLA’s profits from their fall fundraiser helped to purchase additional gifts including a monetary gift for this family in need. Mrs. Gruet and I are proud of the business student’s efforts during a very challenging fall semester.”
