Columbia High School’s Future Business Leaders of America club (FBLA) is spreading holiday cheer. They recently bought gifts for four children through the school’s Adopt a Family program. Then the students wrapped the presents and put them in festive holiday bags.
“Many students donated gifts with their own money,” said Donna Shepardson, a Columbia teacher and co-advisor of FBLA. “FBLA’s profits from their fall fundraiser helped to purchase additional gifts including a monetary gift for this family in need. Mrs. Gruet and I are proud of the business student’s efforts during a very challenging fall semester.”
