Kindergarten Returns Full Time Starting March 1

The Board of Education has approved two changes to the instructional model: 1) Kindergarten students will resume five days a week of in-person learning starting on Monday, March 1. The Full Remote Program is still available to families. 2) Live Virtual Wednesdays will be eliminated for students in grades 1-5 starting March 10 to provide one additional in-person school day every other week. March 10 will be an in-person school day for B Day students and A Day students will have a remote day. The schedule will alternate going forward.

Police officers shopping for Christmas presents to benefit families in needThe East Greenbush Police Department and East Greenbush Emergency Communications Center partnered for their annual “Shop with a Cop” event on Saturday to benefit families in the East Greenbush Central School District.

Not only did the officers and dispatchers shop for gifts and then deliver them, they also called the students to help select gifts for their family members.

“The East Greenbush Police Department members are honored to have partnered with the East Greenbush Central School District to bring some holiday cheer and smiles to students in our community,” said Police Chief Elaine Rudzinski. “Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from our law enforcement family to you and yours!”

Thank you to our friends in the East Greenbush Police Department and Emergency Communications Center for helping our families during the holidays! A perfect reminder of what this season is all about!
