Genet Specials for March 22, 2021
The week of March 22nd will be a “B” Week for students. It will also be the 1st Week in our 5 week Specials rotations.
Genet Yearbook:
Last week your child(ren) came home with an order form for the Genet Yearbook. Order forms will still be accepted next week. Please click here to to download a copy of the ordering form: Genet Yearbook Ordering Form.
Usborne Fundraiser Update:
The orders are in and can be picked up at the Genet Main Lobby on March 23rd and March 24th from 5-7 p.m. If you have any questions, please reach out to our wonderful PTO.
Youth Baseball and Lacrosse
Last week and this week students came home with flyers regarding Spring sports for baseball and lacrosse. Here are the flyers if you need them:
Attention 5th Grade Parents – 6th Grade Music Selection:
Last week 5th Graders came home with a letter from Goff Middle School regarding music course selection for their 6th Grade year. The letter is attached if it has been misplaced. Please read the letter from Mrs. Barker, Principal of Goff Middle School, speak to your child and indicate on the bottom half of the form which music selection your child would like to pursue at a 6th Grader. All forms are due back to Mrs. Scolaro by Friday, March 26th. Genet Virtual Movie Night: Friday, March 26th @ 6:00 PM:
Next week, in coordination with the Genet PTO, we will be hosting a Genet Virtual Movie Night! This week your child came home with a flyer for the event. The event will begin at 6:00 PM and will be live streamed by me to our families. A link to the live stream will be sent out to families later next week that you will need to use your child’s login credentials to be able to view. Hannaford Helps:
This week your child came home with a flyer from Hannaford Supermarket about raising monies for local schools with a target goal of 1 million dollars. Please see the flyer here by clicking the hyperlink: Hannaford Helps Flyer.
Upcoming Events:
- Purple Day at Genet in support of Epilepsy – We ask that students and staff wear Purple on Friday, March 26th in support of those that struggle with Epilepsy. We will be discussing Epilepsy over the next week with students via the Genet Announcements and materials provided within their classrooms.
- Genet Virtual Movie Night – Friday, March 26th @ 6:00 p.m.
