Parent Drop-off and Pick-Up Concerns:

With the increase of students returning at Genet, we have seen an increase of parents wanting to drop off and pickup their children. While we want to accommodate all request, we are beginning to impact traffic on Route 4. I ask that families please consider having your child ride the bus to and from school to help alleviate traffic congestion. If needed, I will need to make changes to our drop off /pick up schedule. If you wish to make any changes, please e-mail Mrs. Giordano at  Thank you for your assistance with this matter.  It is greatly appreciated.

Additionally, if you are new to the afternoon parent pickup procedures and we do not know you by child or face yet, please be patient with us. We ask that everyone has their driver’s license with them if we ask to see it.

Genet Running Club:

We are excited to share that we will begin holding our Genet Jaguars Running Club starting after the Spring Break. Currently we will be offering the Running Club to our 4th and 5th Graders.    Information was sent home with students this week.  At this time, we cannot have a student attend multiple sessions, as we want to ensure all that want to participate are able to do so.  If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to our PE team: Mr. Leyhane ( and Mr. Preston (  Please click here to view the informational flyer: Genet Jaguar Running Club Informational Flyer.
