Capital Project

The East Greenbush CSD has proposed a $116 million capital project that, if approved by voters, would improve facilities and grounds at all seven schools at no additional cost to the local taxpayer. The proposed capital project will be a proposition on the School Budget Vote and Board Election ballot scheduled for Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

Please fill out the Health History Form and the Parental Consent Form if you would like to register your child for a Spring sport. Please use the drop box located in front of both Columbia and Goff Health offices.

Boys’ and Girls’ Outdoor Track students will register using FamilyID beginning on Saturday, March 27. This is a new online registration program that we are hoping to use to streamline the registration process for all athletes and their families in the future. All other sports will be registered as we have always done.

If your child has ever tested positive for COVID-19 or was identified as a presumed positive, you must also fill out the COVID-19 Release for Return to Play.

Any 7th or 8th grade student requesting to try out for an upper level sport must go through the Athletic Placement Process (APP) in order to be eligible for high school sports. Please send an email to Sean Leggett (LeggettSe@egcsd.org) or call him at 518-207-2084 to be added to the APP list. Please contact the Athletic Office at (518) 207-2080 if you have any questions.

The East Greenbush Central School District and Columbia Athletics have implemented a COVID-19 surveillance testing program for students and coaches participating in interscholastic athletics. While testing is not required, we feel it is a proactive step we can take to help reduce the risk of potential spread and keep our school community healthy. We encourage you to fill out the COVID-19 Testing Consent Form and give consent to administer COVID-19 testing to your child.

Tryouts are scheduled to begin on Sunday, April 25, 2021. A tryout schedule will be posted on the Athletic website on/or before April 21, 2021.
