Students competing in Science Olympiad Regional ChampionshipsColumbia placed 2nd at the Science Olympiad Regional Championships on March 20, qualifying for the state championships on Saturday, April 10.

The Regional Championships had 14 teams, including two from Columbia, compete virtually from separate locations due to COVID-19 restrictions. The Columbia A Team placed 2nd and the Columbia B Team placed 5th. In total, the Columbia teams won 19 medals – seven gold, five silver, one bronze, three 4th place, one 5th place and two 6th place.
