Lottery Results for 2024-25 Pre-K Program

The East Greenbush CSD conducted a lottery for the 2024-25 Pre-K Program on Wednesday evening in the Genet Elementary School auditorium. The lottery, which was open to the public, was operated by an independent auditor. The first 165 children drawn in the lottery are being offered spots in the free Pre-K Program. All remaining applicants will be added to a wait list.

The East Greenbush Central School District has been informed that seven students have tested positive for COVID-19. No other individuals have been quarantined.

Columbia High School

  • A student from Columbia High School has tested positive for COVID-19. There was no exposure at school related to this case. The student’s last day in school was March 25.
  • A full remote student from Columbia High School has tested positive for COVID-19. There was no exposure at school related to this case. The student is enrolled in the Full Remote program and does not attend school in person.

Howard L. Goff Middle School

  • A student from Howard L. Goff Middle School has tested positive for COVID-19. There was no exposure at school related to this case. The student’s last day in school was March 30. 
  • A student from Howard L. Goff Middle School has tested positive for COVID-19. There was no exposure at school related to this case. The student’s last day in school was March 30. 
  • A full remote student from Howard L. Goff Middle School has tested positive for COVID-19. There was no exposure at school related to this case. The student is enrolled in the Full Remote program and does not attend school in person.

Bell Top Elementary School

  • A full remote student from Bell Top Elementary School has tested positive for COVID-19. There was no exposure at school related to this case. The student is enrolled in the Full Remote program and does not attend school in person.

Red Mill Elementary School

  • A student from Red Mill Elementary School has tested positive for COVID-19. There was no exposure at school related to this case. The student’s last day in school was March 31. 

There will be no impact on the school schedule related to these confirmed cases of COVID-19.

The district would like to remind everyone to maintain the strong habits we are developing as a school community:

  • Avoid large and small group gatherings such as parties which bring people from different households into contact with each other.
  • Wear masks at all times when out in public.
  • Wash hands with soap and water frequently and thoroughly. Use hand sanitizer when soap and water is not available.
  • Monitor for COVID-19 symptoms and in the event someone is sick, stay at home.
