Fourth grade students at Green Meadow Elementary School recently completed a STEM challenge in which they created bird feeders out of household items. The project followed a week of learning all about birds in Michelle Ecker’s class.
Once the bird feeders were completed, head custodian George Wyant helped hang the feeders on trees outside the classroom windows.
“The students are anxiously awaiting our first customers,” said Mrs. Ecker.
