The East Greenbush Central School District has joined with the other 21 component school districts in Questar III BOCES, covering Rensselaer, Columbia and Greene counties, to host “Learning from the Past, Reimagining the Future: A Regional School Community Forum” on Wednesday, June 2, 2021. The virtual event, scheduled for 7:30-9:00 p.m., will feature NYS Education Commissioner Dr. Betty Rosa, state legislators, school superintendents, students, teachers, parents and Board of Education members and it will be livestreamed to all of our school communities.
The purpose of this virtual forum is to discuss the impact of COVID-19 on our schools and advocate for regulations and guidance to permit a full reopening of all schools in September.
Our school districts and regional Advocacy Committees, which include students, parents and school staff from component school districts within Questar III BOCES, organized this event.
The forum will include presentations and a Q&A Session in which the public can participate.
