The East Greenbush Central School District announced changes to the 2021-22 school calendar at its public Board of Education meeting on Tuesday evening. Notably, the first day of school has been moved from Tuesday, September 7 to Thursday, September 9. There will be no school on Tuesday, September 7 and Wednesday, September 8 so families who observe Rosh Hashanah do not miss the start of the school year.
Calendar Changes:
- Tuesday, September 7 – Changed to Superintendent’s Conference Day (No School)
- Wednesday, September 8 – Changed to Full Day Professional Development (No School)
- Thursday, September 9 – Changed to the First Day of School (K-12)
- Tuesday, November 2 – Changed to In Session School Day
