The Columbia Boys’ Volleyball team defeated Shenendehowa 3-1 (20-25, 25-19, 25-13, 33-31) on Friday evening to win the Section II Championship. Carter Durivage led the way with 27 kills, 3 aces, 2 blocks, and 18 digs. Henry Heeps added 13 kills, 3 aces, and 11 digs. Jeremy Garrigan dished out 41 assists and 3 blocks. Gabe Tucker controlled the net with 5 kills, 4.5 blocks, and 1 ace. Kyle Blake added 2 kills and 3 blocks; one of which solidified the victory for the Blue Devils.
The Blue Devils advance to the NYS Sub Regional. They will play Liverpool on Wednesday, November 10 at 7:20 p.m. at Shenendehowa High School.
