Capital Project

The East Greenbush CSD has proposed a $116 million capital project that, if approved by voters, would improve facilities and grounds at all seven schools at no additional cost to the local taxpayer. The proposed capital project will be a proposition on the School Budget Vote and Board Election ballot scheduled for Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

Update – 12:57 p.m.

The lockout has been lifted at Red Mill Elementary School. School operations have returned to normal.

At approximately noon today, the East Greenbush Central School District was notified of police activity in the Hampton Manor neighborhood. The East Greenbush Police Department is pursuing a suspect who is not believed to be dangerous. As a precaution, Red Mill Elementary School immediately entered a lockout due to the police activity.

During a lockout, any classes are immediately brought inside, all exterior windows are locked and no visitors are permitted inside the building. The school day continues as normal. Students and staff are free to move about the school.
