This morning at approximately 7:45 a.m., a Columbia High School student enrolled in the Center for Therapeutic Academic Excellence Program, which is located at Genet Elementary School in East Greenbush, left school without permission.
School staff contacted the student’s family and the school district worked with the East Greenbush Police Department to locate the student. The student has been found safe and police have reunited him with his family.
There was no disruption to the school day.
The district would like to thank the East Greenbush Police Department for its assistance in locating this student.
