Members of the East Greenbush Teachers Association volunteered at the Nassau Resource Center on December 18 to help families in need by assembling more than 70 Christmas baskets. The baskets included food for a Christmas dinner and gift cards. Seniors also received first aid kits.
“We loved being able to serve our community in such a practical and tangible way this holiday season,” said EGTA member and Goff music teacher Hannah Decker. “It’s something we look forward to each year.”
