The Columbia Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Sales Team was named co-champions along with Guilderland at the 2nd annual St. Rose Sales Competition on Friday. Business students from several Capital District high schools participated in the virtual competition.
Columbia FBLA students that participated were Manraj Cheema, Henry Collins, Liam Gibney, Ethan Harris, Tori Patrissy, Shashwat Panigrahi and Thomas Roche. They were coached by Mark Michalisin, Sales Professional in Residence at The College of St. Rose.
The competition involved researching a college-level sales case study about Cutco. The students met over the course of six weeks to prepare.
