The East Greenbush Teachers Association collected and sent out 1,137 Valentine’s Day cards for local seniors last week. The valentines were colored and crafted by students and teachers from across the East Greenbush Central School District and delivered to Evergreen Commons, Hawthorne Ridge and the Rensselaer County Meals on Wheels program.
“This annual tradition is something that both the EGTA and Valentine recipients look forward to each year, and we were so happy to be able to continue this tradition,” said Goff Music Teacher and EGTA member Hannah Decker.
