Capital Project

The East Greenbush CSD has proposed a $116 million capital project that, if approved by voters, would improve facilities and grounds at all seven schools at no additional cost to the local taxpayer. The proposed capital project will be a proposition on the School Budget Vote and Board Election ballot scheduled for Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

The Goff 8th Grade Band performing at the NYSSMA Majors in the Columbia High School auditoriumThe Goff 8th Grade Band earned a Gold Rating during its performance at the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) Majors adjudication festival on Tuesday, which was held in the Columbia High School auditorium.

The band, under the direction of Goff Music Teacher David Bresnahan, was awarded a Gold Rating for demonstrating an “outstanding level of technical and artistic skill in each of the evaluative categories for all three selections.”

The pieces that the band played were:

  • “Dark Fortress” – Rob Grice
  • “Cyclone” – Michael Oare
  • “March of the Arachnids” – Randall D. Standridge
