The Goff Jazz Band won 1st place in their division at the Music in the Parks competition on Friday at Westfield State University in Massachusetts (not pictured: Tessa Warner and Jay Meyyan).
The Goff Jazz band performed at the Music in the Parks competition at Westfield State University in Massachusetts on Friday. The Jazz Band performed:
- “Can’t Buy Me Love” arranged by Michael Sweeney
- “Fly Me to the Moon” arranged by Michael Sweeney
- “Crank It Up” by Patrick Broadbent
At the awards ceremony that followed, the Goff Jazz Band won 1st place in their division, as well as receiving an overall rating of “Superior,” the highest level that can be achieved.
