The 2022 Columbian Awards were hosted by Student Council on Friday morning in the school auditorium.

Columbia High School students were recognized for their achievements in academic subject areas, research, athletics, the arts, community service and more at the 2022 Columbian Awards on Friday morning in the school auditorium. It was the first time in three years that this awards ceremony was held in person due to the pandemic.

The event was run by Student Council and hosted by President Ryan Seely ’22 and Vice President Emma Marchiony ’23.

“I’m so proud of all the students who participated in the award show today,” said Principal Michael Harkin. “It was amazing to be all back together and celebrate the accomplishments of our students.”

The Columbia Chamber Singers performed the National Anthem and the CHS Jazz Band provided music throughout the event.

Additional awards, including Valedictorian and Salutatorian, were given out on June 14 at the Columbian Evening Awards. (These awards are listed below).

Congratulations to all of the award winners!
