Famous historical figures such as Clara Barton, Walt Disney and Abraham Lincoln came to life at Genet Elementary School on Friday as part of the 4th Grade Interactive Wax Museum.

Nearly 70 students participated in the event, which was a culminating research project for the classes.

“Our students were so excited to learn about historical figures and their contributions to society,” said 4th grade teacher Jenna Turnbull. “They truly take a lot of pride in their work through researching, taking notes and writing a biography. It’s such a great feeling as their teachers to see the excitement on their faces the morning of the Wax Museum when they get to show off their final presentation and ‘become’ their historical figure, too!”
