Capital Project

The East Greenbush CSD has proposed a $116 million capital project that, if approved by voters, would improve facilities and grounds at all seven schools at no additional cost to the local taxpayer. Student receives certificate at Moving Up CeremonyRed Mill Elementary School’s fifth graders walked through a red and white balloon archway and down a red carpet to receive their graduation certificates at Thursday’s Moving Up Ceremony in the school gym. The students will move on to Howard L. Goff Middle School as sixth graders in the fall.

Each of the fifth grade teachers and Principal Helen Squillace congratulated the graduates for their academic achievement, hard work and their development into good citizens.

“Our fifth graders have set a wonderful example this school year for our little ones at Red Mill,” said Principal Squillace. “They have been great role models for them. They are kind and helpful. They can be counted on and they can be trusted. They have shown us their capacity to lead and I know they will lead when they leave us.”

Following the ceremony, students and families enjoyed a celebration in the cafeteria.

Congratulations to the graduates!
