The East Greenbush Central School District Board of Education will consider for approval the draft 2022-23 District-wide Safety Plan at its next public meeting on Wednesday, August 10. In accordance with state regulations, school districts are required to develop District Wide Safety Plans, which are comprehensive, district wide plans that provide broad concepts, policies and procedures, including the number and types of safety drills to be completed each year.
The District Wide Safety Plan opened for public comment on July 7 and will close on August 5.
Any resident who would like to comment on the plan or ask questions about it may attend the Board of Education meeting on August 10 in the Columbia High School library.
