
Columbia and Goff staff attend a professional development session on Monday, September 26 led by the Pride Center of the Capital Region about gender identity and how school staff can create a welcoming and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Teachers and staff participated in a half day of professional development on Monday, learning instructional technology, developing curriculum and meeting as departments.
In total, 22 sessions were offered to staff. Special training sessions included CPR/AED Training, Renaissance Star products for ELA and Math, Creativity and Resilience in Art, and a Pride Center presentation about how school staff can support all students with sensitivity and inclusiveness.
