Capital Project

The East Greenbush CSD has proposed a $116 million capital project that, if approved by voters, would improve facilities and grounds at all seven schools at no additional cost to the local taxpayer. The proposed capital project will be a proposition on the School Budget Vote and Board Election ballot scheduled for Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

The East Greenbush Teachers Association and School-Related Personnel labor unions joined forces in September to raise money for an East Greenbush family to get their son, Killian, a needed therapy dog after falling on some hard times.

Together, the EGTA and SRP were able to raise over $3,100 through building-wide initiatives. These funds were used to offset travel and training costs to get their therapy dog, Zag, from California.

Special thanks to Kate and Lisa Morrow, who organized a raffle at Columbia High School, raising $675, and all the teachers and staff in each building who helped to coordinate donation collection for 50/50s and dress down days. Their efforts allowed this to happen!
