Nine Columbia High School students will put their singing to the test on Friday evening as they compete in Columbia Idol at 7:00 p.m. in the school auditorium. Each contestant will perform a song on stage for a panel of judges. The top five singers will advance to the final round and perform again with the winner being chosen by an audience vote.
The event will be hosted by Co-Presidents of Chamber Singers Maddie Gruber ’23 and Adam Williams ’23. The show will also feature a special performance by former Chamber Singer LayVon Scott ’22.
Tickets will be sold at the door and cost $10 for adults and $8 for students/senior citizens. All proceeds will benefit Columbia Chamber Singers.
