Due to the anticipated weather forecast for this afternoon, the East Greenbush Central School District will dismiss two hours early on Thursday, January 19. Students will be dropped off at their emergency dismissal locations unless they are picked up from school by their parents.
Closing early will allow the district to transport students home and avoid roads turning icy while giving as much notice as possible to parents who need to make child care arrangements.
Early Dismissal Times:
- Columbia: 12:03 p.m.
- Pre-K (DPS/Genet/Red Mill): 12:15 p.m.
- Goff: 12:40 p.m.
- Genet: 1:10 p.m.
- Bell Top: 1:30 p.m.
- DPS: 1:30 p.m.
- Green Meadow: 1:30 p.m.
- Red Mill: 1:30 p.m.
Breakfast and lunch will be served at all schools.
There will be no after school activities/programs. The Bell Top Concert is postponed and has been rescheduled to Wednesday, January 25 at 7 p.m. in the Genet Auditorium.
Greenbush Child Caring will be closed in the afternoon.
If you choose to pick up your child from school today, please do so by the following times:
- Columbia: 12:05 p.m.
- Goff: 12:30 p.m.
- Genet: 1:00 p.m.
- Bell Top: 1:00 p.m.
- DPS: 1:00 p.m.
- Green Meadow: 1:00 p.m.
- Red Mill: 1:20 p.m.
