Columbia High School students will learn about important health and safety topics such as internet safety, dating violence prevention and overall wellness during Health Awareness Week starting Monday, February 13. Students will attend the presentations during their Physical Education classes.
Health Awareness Week Topics:
- CPR and Stop the Bleeding Trauma
- Dating Violence Prevention/Gun and Gang Violence
- Sexual Assault and Crime Victims Program
- Business Mindset and Athlete Focus
- DWI Prevention – Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Other Drugs
- Acceptance of LGBTQ+ Community
- Internet Safety and Healthy Decision Making
- Positive Mindset and Overall Wellness
