The Rensselaer County Department of Mental Health is hosting an award-winning, six-session program designed to help parents and their children, ages 10-13, increase communication and appreciation, set boundaries, talk about issues facing them and develop strategies that help you set limits for them with love.
Strengthening Families is a free program offered every Tuesday from February 28 until April 4, 5:30-7:00 p.m. at Rensselaer Jr./Sr. School. The workshop is unique in that both parents and children attend together. Dinner and childcare will be provided.
