Green Meadow Elementary School collected 2,200 canned goods as part of its annual Souper Bowl earlier this month. On Friday, the Student Council donated the items to the CoNSERNS-U food pantry in Rensselaer.
While there, the students volunteered their time organizing the donations for the food pantry.
Green Meadow Student Council volunteered at the CoNSERNS-U Food Pantry this morning. They delivered 2,200 cans from the school’s Souper Bowl and then organized the donations for the charity.
