Seven teams from the East Greenbush Central School District participated in the Odyssey of the Mind Region 4 Tournament earlier this spring, and three of those teams won first or second place in their region and qualified for the NYS Tournament.
Teams from Donald P. Sutherland and Genet Elementary Schools as well as Goff Middle School will compete in the State Finals on Saturday at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse. Other teams that participated in the regional tournament represented Green Meadow, Genet and Red Mill.
Odyssey of the Mind is a creative problem-solving program that brings students together to use their creativity and teamwork.
